Powerhouse Studios is a professional music studio located in Coventry, founded by youth music organisation, Media Mania. Our mission is to provide high-quality recording, music production, and mixing & mastering services, while opening pathways for young people into the music industry.
Whether you're a seasoned performer looking to take your sound to the next level or an emerging artist eager to make your mark, Powerhouse Studios is here to support you every step of the way. From pre-production planning to final mastering, we tailor our services to meet your unique needs and ensure that your music shines.
Music Production
Our talented team of Producers and Musicians at Powerhouse Studios specialise in crafting bespoke instrumentals tailored to your project's unique vision and style. With years of experience and a passion for music, we work closely with artists to understand their musical voice and goals. Utilising our selection of recording equipment, instruments, and effects, we craft beats and instrumentals spanning a wide range of styles and genres, from soulful R&B grooves to energetic dance rhythms.
Recording
Equipped with a bespoke-built live room, perfect for tracking instrumentalists, small bands, and ensembles, and a recording booth perfect for vocals and recording instruments with a dry, intimate sound. Powerhouse Studios offers the ideal environment for musicians to bring their creative visions to life and capture them with pristine audio quality. We support artists to deliver their best performances and create professional quality recordings that stand out.
Mixing and Mastering
Add the final polish and elevate your project to professional standards with our selection of analog outboard gear and digital software. Our control room, expertly crafted by industry renowned specialists 'The Studio People', is an exceptional monitoring environment that provides accurate sound reproduction and sonic clarity. Featuring our Audient ASP4816 console and Focal Trio11 monitors, we are equipped to handle mixing and mastering tasks, whether you're adding warmth and character with vintage analog processors or harnessing the power of digital plugins.
Artist Development & Media
Our artist development services provide personalised guidance to help artists develop their craft, hone your unique sound, and navigate the complexities of the music industry.

We offer a range of marketing and promotional support to help artists build their brand and reach audiences. From social media strategy and content creation to press kits and media production, our team is committed to helping you stand out in a crowded market and connect with your audience.
Recording
From £350 per day
- all bookings include the services of a professionally trained engineer.
- 8 hours studio time per day.

Music Production
From £150 per track
- all lisences and permissions included.
- session musicians available.

Mixing & Mastering
From £150 per track
- rates are dependant on number of stems included.
- 2 revisions welcome on the mix.
- free test master upon request.
- mastering only rate available (from £50 per track).
Vocal Production
From £40 per hour
- all bookings include the services of a professionally trained engineer.
- minimum 2 hour booking time.
